Guilty. I haven't made a video on my ten pan project just yet so I do not count this as going back on my word. And in my defense, this was on hold at Sephora before I posted about the ten pan project :)
So as many of you know, especially my followers and subscribers, I am obssessed with the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks. I was already convinced that I would purchase two more and the two that I got is in 'Patina' (mauvey purple) and 'Belissima' (pinkish nude). Seriously lovelies these really do stay on all day. I can eat and drink my coffee with this on and I really do not need to touch up. I personally do just because I'm a perfectionist at times especially when I am working.. But on a regular day, I really do not reach for this product for like another 6-7 hours. Because this product has a matte finish, it can be very drying. If you already have problems with chapped lips, I highly suggest using a moisturizing lip balm before applying the liquid lipstick and you are good to go.
No brainer on grabbing another one of the Sephora collection liquid eyeliner! I am telling you. I am obsessed! I keep going back to buying more shades! I mean seriously they're under $6 right now for the older colors. And they're regularly $12, that alone isn't a bad price compared to other high end brands. I grabbed a color that I didn't have already and it is the shade 'black purple'.
Because I love the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks, I ventured out to a different brand and found that I actually love the Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stains as well. They are a lot creamier in texture and have about almost the staying power of Stila's. I haven't tried out one throughout a long period of time just yet so I am curious to see what this product will do for me. And I grabbed it in the shade '04'.
Last but not least. Do you see how adorable that brush is!? It is the same height as the lip products I purchase! This bad boy was $14 at Sephora and it is a mini mineral brush from the Sephora Collection. I figured I would use it for my Lorac POREfection powders once I am finished with my duo mat from Makeup Forever.
AND that is all I got folks.
I'm sorry I haven't been updating much on the giveaway. It is because I've had something terrible happen to me the past weekend. Long story short I ended up in the Emergency Room. I am fine now just got to take it a little easy on myself. Working two jobs isn't as smooth as I thought it would be but I am pulling through. And no overworking myself was not the main reason as to why I ended up at the hospital. Many factors came into play and most of it is my health.
So I have to say that the giveaway will be put on hold but not for long. I just have to find time to actually make a video. And trust me it will be one the next three videos I do within the week. So as much as I wanted it to be this past weekend. It was put on hold because of what happened during the weekend. I'm so sorry lovelies!
hmm.. So what's this ten pan project you ask? We'll awhile back, on my YouTube channel actually, I did this project. I basically was tagged by a subscriber of mine and decided what the heck I'll do it too. So BASICALLY, you choose ten products (since of course my interest is beauty, I will choose beauty related products). These products are basically items that I almost hit pan on or in other words about to be finished with. I have to use these ten products all up before buying ANY other makeup. Sounds crazy right?! Especially for someone who's YouTube channel consists of 75% beauty hauls. I know it is a challenge but I'm sure this will be a good one. This will most definitely be preventing me from splurging like I always do and also save me money for the time being. So my rules to this project is I can not spend a dime on makeup until I am finished with ALL ten items I choose. Of course gifts do not count since it won't be for me. DO NOT WORRY! This does not mean that I will be away from youtube. This actually means you'll be seeing less hauls and more reviews and tutorials. && of course lets not forget the giveaway I will be having soon. (I will actually be explaining why my giveaway was put on hold for a second in a separate blog. It's actually way too personal and too depressing to post now) BUT besides that ... No more spending on makeup until these products are done. Like completely empty. The only time I'll purchase a beauty item is if it is requested to be reviewed by you guys. (If I already do not own the product).
Here are the products I picked out that are also hitting its last drop:
1. MAC BRONZING POWDER in 'Bronze'
2. MAKEUP FOREVER DUO MAT POWDER FOUNDATION in '203'
3. MAKEUP FOREVER MAT VELVET+ MATIFYING FOUNDATION in 'Vanilla 35'
4. JEMMA KIDD IN VOGUE PERFECT BLUSH in '02 south beach'
5. MAKEUP FOREVER HIGH DEFINITION POWDER (travel size)
6. MAYBELLINE INSTANT AGE REWIND ERASER DARK CIRCLES TREATMENT CONCEALER in 'brightener'
7. TARTE MARACUJA CREASELESS CONCEALER in 'medium'
8. SEPHORA COLLECTION LONG LASTING EYELINER (both waterproof and non waterproof formula in 'black'. I figured I could combine these since it'll stop me from purchasing 172xx eyeliners for awhile lol)
9. MAC FLUIDLINE BROW GELCREME in 'deep dark brunette'
10. MAC SATIN FINISH LIPSTICK in 'Cherish'
I just realized how many MAC and Makeup Forever products I have. Obviously this is not all that I own and most of you know that. Lol. But tada! Those are the ten items that I pulled out of my makeup bag/vanity that I should stop putting aside and actually finish up.
I should probably make a video on this as well. What do you all think, yeah?
HELLO WORLD
Yes indeed I am back from the non social media world. I have been filming a lot lately on my youtube channel so if you haven't seen my last video, GO CHECK IT OUT ;) Anywho, as I was saying, I am back and in action of course. Here's a little update on my life for the past, I don't know, YEAR, so yes I am still in a relationship. We are so much happier than we ever were. I couldn't be anymore blessed than I already am and yet he seems to prove me wrong. We actually just spent our 3 year anniversary last month in Disneyland. Time is flying by really fast. As far as my work I am still currently working at H&M (a fashionable clothing store) but NOW also at Sephora. I do not work in a free standing store though (that's okay, one step closer to my dreams). But after so long I am finally working in an environment which caters to my career. I finally jumped over the self conscious wall and applied. Here I am working permanently. I've been doing a lot more artistic photoshoots with a good friend of mine to build up my portfolio. I'm still not where I am want to be as far as my skills in makeup artistry, but like they always say, "You're your biggest critic". So I know for sure I am just being hard on myself when it comes to judging my skills. So enough of the blabbing, I have some exciting news for a lot of you that have been sticking it through with me for the past years...

Here are my favorites for the month of January and the first favorites of the year! It has been awhile because I haven't been using different products lately. Again I mention in my past blogs that I am just breaking out of old habits and shedding my old skin. I adventured out of the norm and tried new products. I am still using them up to date because I am loving them still. So beware of repeats in February!
Products Mentioned & Mini Review:
Walmart Synthetic Angled Brush:
Super soft, picks up a good amount of product, inexpensive and applies product easily
Benefit's Boi ing Concealer in 02:
Conceals my blemishes, doesn't break me out, matches my skintone pretty well, lasting power is average
MAC's Paintpot in Painterly:
Perfect to conceal my stray eyebrow hairs, perfect color for a base, perfect base for nude eyeshadows, keeps my eyeshadow in place. One of the downsides: it dries pretty easily if you are not careful closing the packaging

Lorac Pro Palette:
love the color variety, perfect combination of mattes and metallics, lots of eyeshadows, comes with a eye primer, couple bucks cheaper than the Urban Decay Naked palettes
Jemma Kidd's Perfect Blush in 02 South Beach:
perfect natural shade, cute packaging (other than it falling out of its packaging), applies as a satin finish
Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten in Honeydipped:
